An Invitation from Marla Calico, CFE

I want to personally extend to you an invitation to attend the 2021 IAFE Convention & Trade Show, November 28-December 1 in San Antonio, Texas. The Program Committee under the able leadership of Shari Black has really worked hard to create an exciting event that will be fresh, innovative and chock-full of opportunities to learn and network.

Our industry was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, but through it all fair folk stood their ground, became very creative in finding revenue, and most importantly connected with one another in any way possible to help one another. Throughout this past year during every online meeting we heard the same thing – “I can’t wait to see you in person”.

We are all anxious to be with one another and so we’ve left plenty of networking time in the schedule. The preliminary program

of workshops and other activities will be fleshed out in time for registration opening on July 26th. But, we’ve also left some openings to fill in with critical education or discussion that will be necessary as a result of the 2021 fair season. Keep checking the dedicated Convention website, www.iafeconvention.com, to see the program develop. Remember, the early bird wins with the best registration savings possible. And, there are many travel grants and scholarships available to help defray your costs to attend if that is a concern.
