Beautifying and cleaning your grounds may seem like an impossible task when they are being used for so many different events. We will have the opportunity to hear from Maggie Thompson, Director of River Walk Operations. Maggie will begin in one of our workshop rooms sharing and offering information on event logistics (and some mishaps) for river parades, lighting, and maintenance of the River Walk. She will also share the economic impact of the River Walk and San Antonio.
After the workshop portion of the event, she will take us on a walking tour, showing some of the points in the presentation, and also a sneak peek of the Riverwalk Boat Marina.
The workshop portion of the event will be open to all and not require pre-registration. The walking tour will be limited to the first 30 that register. There is no fee.
